Ever since it was announced that Sam Talbot was leaving Surf Lodge we've been wondering what was to become of the food over there. Thanks to Eater NY, we now know. Starting Friday, Aussie chef Chris Rendell will be at the helm of Byron At The Surf Lodge. Named after "the ultimate surfer town"?Byron Bay in Australia?the restaurant's menu will be "inspired by Byron's simplistic lifestyle with an emphasis on the farm to table movement."
