After Chop #3, "The Curve House" In Montauk Is Under $2M

New, 3 comments

It may be an award winner*, but that doesn't mean this four-bedroom is exempt from the pricechopper's blade. According the folks over at StreetEasy, the 3000 sq. ft. home first hit the market in 2010 for $2.7 and its price has been slowly headed south ever since. The ask now? $1.999M.

We're kinda digging the cedar and stucco construction designed by MB Architecture (the East Hampton firm responsible for The Arc House). The 1st floor offers an open living room with wood burning fireplace, a dining room, a gourmet white kitchen, and a master bedroom with ensuite bath. On the lower level, there's a lounge area with another fireplace, three guest bedrooms and two full baths. The house also features automatic screen windows that fold open to provide views of the infinity edge pool and turn "the space into an extension of the outdoors." One of the place's cooler amenities is the mirror in the master bathroom?it doubles as a media system. However, the standout item is definitely the rooftop terrace, which is where you'll find Montauk's "first green roof garden."
