After Almost Three Years, This Five-Bed Gets Pricechop #1

New, 3 comments

After putting his home on the market in the summer of 2009, Bruce Bernacchia?the owner of Harvest in Montauk?finally lowered the price. Earlier this week he knocked off $200K (about 5%) from the original $3.95M ask.

Looking at the stats (and amenities), we can see why he's been hesitant to chop the price up until now. Set on almost a full acre overlooking Lake Montauk, the 3500 sq. ft. home offers Tigerwood and stone radiant heat flooring throughout, a slab granite porch with a wood burning fireplace, a chef's kitchen featuring Zebrawood cabinets and marble countertops, a hand-chiseled floor-to-ceiling fireplace in the great room, and a trio of balconies. What's missing? A heated gunite pool. One could be installed, though. It'll just require a variance to do so.
