No Fishing Allowed

The NY State Department of Environmental Conservation closed Sag Harbor Cove and Upper Sag Harbor Cove to shellfishing yesterday after samples collected from a monitoring site tested positive for saxitoxin. The almost 500 acres of water will be reopened for fishing after results of further testing show no signs of the marine biotoxin. [Sag Harbor Epxress]
