Curbed readers are rather divided (Editor's Note: nothing new there) over the recent story involving The East Hampton Grill denying a seemingly innocuous request from a Forbes contributor. Some are of the mind that "The customer is always right" and the restaurant should have acquiesced and just allowed the "one lousy table to be shifted." Others are saying "good for [Hillstone]" and rules are rules. And, as expected, there's a smattering of "I don't like that restaurant, anyway."
