Is the never-ending drama surrounding the Surf Lodge finally nearing an end? After Monday's meeting between East Hampton Justice Catherine A. Cahill and the two attorneys involved in the case, it's starting to look that way. If Thomas Horn's motion to dimiss many of the charges levied against Edgemere Montauk L.L.C. is granted, Robert Connelly (the town's lead attorney for the case) said that it could lead to a settlement. Mr. Connelly also noted that the $100K fine suggested back in October was still "on the table." [EH Star]
