Lawsuits

It's been days since we've heard of a Hamptons lawsuit, but that's what's in store for the village of Southampton if they amend their zoning code to allow for a supermarket at the corner of Hampton and Flying Point roads. At Thursday's boarding meeting, Abraham Wallach?the most vocal opponent of the proposed legislation?said that several condo and community associations and at least 10 businesses would file one, "the day this ordinance or anything similar to it is implemented." Looks like everyone's going to have to head to Wainscott for all of their free-range, organic, soy-based grocery needs. [Patch]
