Rites Of Spring

If you're in East Hampton on the 28th of this month, you might want to carve out a little time in your day to visit the Longhouse Reserve. That's when the 16-acre sculpture garden/nature preserve/art installation will be kicking off its 21st year with their Rites Of Spring season opening. In addition to the permanent collection, they'll be a pair of temporary exhibitions on display this year: Diversities of Sculpture/Derivations from Nature, a group "of pioneering, conventional, and idiosyncratic works and practices" and Accumulations: NOW, featuring a number of pieces from collection of the late Dena Katzenberg. If you've never been, we highly recommend checking it out. It's definitely worth the $10 ($8 for seniors) admission price. [Longhouse Reserve]
