The Travel Channel's newest show, Hotel Impossible, recently featured a trip out to "To End" to visit Gurney's Inn for Monday night's inaugural episode. Upon arrival, the show's host/hotel fixer, Anthony Melchiorri, explained that the view was "spectacular", but soon changed his tune when he saw the rest of the oceanfront hotel. He quickly pointed out the lack of attentive staff, signs in need of cleaning/painting and "the worst lobby [he has] seen in two twenty years in the business." While his list of complaints was exhaustive, there's one that guests of Gurney's will be happy to hear wasn't included: No bed bugs. [The Travel Channel]
