"Old Houses For Fun & Profit" just published a great post about the cheapest house in East Hampton?a 1950's cottage asking $189K. The verdict? "Eeeeeewwwwwwwwwwww!" True to form, though, CasaCara (the woman behind the blog) was able to find a few nice things to say about the place. "The half-acre lot," she notes, "wasn't as hopeless as [she] had imagined." She also mentions that, although the home is on the often bustling Springs Fireplace Road, it's "in a residential area nearer the historic district, on a corner lot." Any of you brave souls out there interested in a project? [CasaCara]
