This "Immaculate Modern" In Sagaponack Is Looking For $6.9M

New, 7 comments

Since Curbed readers had very little love for the Charles Gwathmey Sagaponack estate we wrote about the other week?calling it everything from "dated" to "creepy" to just straight-up "terrible"?we wanted to see what you all thought about this modern that just hit the market.

Located on 1.5 acres down a shared, private driveway off of Parsonage Lane in Sagaponack, is this 6500 sq. ft. five-bedroom that was "totally renovated in 2007". It offers a grand master suite with a soaring ceiling, its own deck and floor to ceiling glass walls that provide a uninterrupted view of a 21 acre reserve bordering the property. There's wood and marble flooring throughout the rest of the house, five fireplaces, a central sound system, an open chef's kitchen/dining/living?all framed by glass walls?a great room with a bar and more of those glass walls (notice a pattern?), an office, and a state-of-the-art theater. The grounds include?what else??a heated gunite pool and spa. And not a creepy pair of eyeballs in sight.

So Curbed readers...what have you got to say about this one?
