It's a little unfair of Newsday to publish this segment about Amagansett's La Fondita (voted best Mexican in the Hamptons by Curbed readers) considering that it has yet to open for the season, but we're trying to focus on the positive. Instead of thinking about what we can't have, we're going to take this as a sign of what's just around the corner. If all goes according to plan (the restaurant's doing a little construction), the doors should be open the last week of April. And not a moment too soon.
