$6.5M Sagaponack Farmhouse Finds A Buyer In Two Months

New, 1 comment

Looks like we've got another sale involving an updated farmhouse on our hands. This particular one can be be found on Hedges Lane in the priciest small town in America, Sagaponack. Let's take a look at what's included with the almost purchase, shall we? Cue the brokerbabble:

"Five bedrooms in total, including master suite with fireplace and Juliet balcony, 2 en-suite guest rooms, a total of 4.5 baths, gourmet Boffi kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, expansive entry/music room with fireplace, light filled living room with French Doors giving to the lovely grounds, formal dining room, mud room, 6 fireplaces, antique wide plank flooring, French doors throughout, and wraparound deck with outdoor fireplace. "The 1 acre property also boasts "serene grounds and specimen trees" and a two-story barn/artist's studio/pool house with full bath overlooking a heated gunite pool. It's a lovely place to be sure, but nothing really jumps out as awe-inspiring. Something must have resonated with the soon-to-be owner, though. This listing only hit the market on January 9th and was noted as "in contract" 50 days later. Listing: Timeless 1927 Farmhouse [Sotheby's]
