Those hoping to see the owners of The Surf Lodge get their long overdue comeuppance will have to wait a little while longer. A meeting between East Hampton Town Justice Catherine A. Cahill, defense attorney Colin Astarita and assistant town attorney Pat Gunn ended with Judge Cahill announcing that the matter of the almost 700 violations the establishment racked up last sumer will be held over until the middle of next month. While the news of yet another delay is sure to anger many, the judge noted that the proposals discussed at Monday's meeting address both the charges and "the bigger picture."
