Prudential Douglas Elliman's Enzo Morabito recently took to his blog to rave about how this exceptionally mild weather has been affecting the East End real estate market. Calling this winter "the best that [he has] have ever seen in the past 27 years," Mr. Morabito seems rather optimistic that the worst is behind us. While he only offers anecdotal evidence for this rosy outlook, we do agree that it certainly feels busier this season. We'll have to wait until the 1st quarter numbers are released to know for certain, but at least the area isn't as desolate as it was in 2011. Last winter was awful. [EnzoMorabito.com]
