The most recent (and only) pricechop that the ask on this three-bedroom in Springs just experienced has been a long time coming. The 1000 sq. ft. cottage has been on the market since September of 2010 and, somehow, it's been able to avoid cutting the price in all that time. Perhaps growing weary going for so long without a buyer, the owner has finally given the go ahead to list the place at a psychologically more attractive $399K.
As for the home itself, you can probably imagine that a spread in Architectural Digest isn't forthcoming. However it is relatively close to the beach, so there's that. The property is about half an acre, so there's more than enough room for a pool as well. This isn't anyone's idea of a summer Hamptons escape, but it would work well for a family living in the area.
