10 Months Later, $26.5M Gin Lane Oceanfront Finds A Buyer

New, 10 comments

Yet another incredibly pricey property has found a buyer this week. This time around, the $26.5M oceanfront at 466 Gin Lane has been tapped to join 2012's biggest sales. After roughly ten months on the market (according to Zillow), the home has clicked over to "In Contract" on HREO.

Weighing in at 6000 sq. ft., the four-bedroom traditional fulfills all those summer home needs. It's got staff quarters, a media room, a paneled library, and a high-end kitchen with its own breakfast room. But it's those views?those views!?that really set the place apart. One the south side of the main house, the Atlantic. On north side of the property, there's a five-bedroom oversized guest house offering an eyeful of Old Town Pond. The two-acre parcel is no slouch either. In addition to 250 feet of ocean frontage and a gunite pool, there's also a tennis court.

Of Note: 2012 is shaping up to be an incredibly successful year for super high-end real estate. There's a very solid possibility that by January 1st, the ten biggest sales will all be for more than $20M.
