A Trio Of Harry Bates Designs Have Found Buyers

New, 4 comments

The fall continues to be good for the homes of Harry Bates. Late last month, one of his designs found a buyer in just six weeks. Today, we discovered that not one, but three of his houses are now listed as "In Contract."

Listing: 377 Jobs Lanes, Bridgehampton
Asking Price: $5,800,000
The Skinny: Set on 1.3 acres and offering 168 feet of frontage on Sam's Creek, this compound consists of three three buildings. The main residence features four bedrooms, a great room with a fireplace, a heated gunite pool and views of the creek. There's also a pair of outbuildings "both with a one car garage and upstairs studio/office/storage space."

Listing: Poetic Mid Century Modern Home
Address: 20 Oyster Pond Lane, East Hampton
Asking Price: $795,000
The Skinny: Set on half an acre, this 1200 square footer boasts three bedrooms, a pair of bathrooms, two wood decks and a stone patio for outdoor living. The brokerbabble also mentions "seasonal water views" which is a nice way of saying "When the leaves die, you can see the bay."

Listing: Iconic Architecture, Outstanding Opportunity
Address: 22 Springwood Lane, East Hampton
Asking Price: $795,000
The Skinny: The listing says that "this was one of Bates' favorites" and we can see why. The two-bedroom offers a huge living room with a 20-foot ceiling and a fireplace, walls of glass and expansive decking in front and out back. The almost 1-acre property also boasts "a sparkling pool, outdoor shower and plenty of privacy."
