Jeffery Collé Construction Gets A $1M Pricechop

New, 3 comments

Jeffery's Collé's homes just don't seem to sell, do they? There's one in Water Mill that's been on the market for a few years, a couple in East Hampton that are languishing, and now this Wainscott property is coming up on a year. What's a builder to do? Slash the price, of course! The ask on this Wainscott six-bedroom just met with the pricechopper to the tune of $1M. Mr. Collé's latest construction can now be yours for $8.995M.

Judging by the response from Curbed readers the last time this home made an appearance, that still might be too much. Although a few seemed to like the house, many just weren't too keen on its size, location, or pricing. One noted that a "similar house just sold on Five Rod (closer to beach, dead end street) for $7.6. This is worth less due to its location on a thoroughfare. House too big for lot." So...will the new pricetag get the job done or is another chop (or two) required?
