When this 1500 sq. ft. ranch in Springs first hit the market back in 2010, the owner was optimistically (and unrealistically) asking $395K. Now, some two years later, they've dropped the price down to a more palatable $290K. Still, even with the discounted-even-for-Springs pricetag, bargain house hunters might continue to take a pass. The listing photos aren't doing the place any favors?that crooked mirror is especially irksome?nor is the location. While the brokerbabble notes that the three-bedroom is just "a convenient ride to the beautiful bay beaches" it omits the important fact that the Springs Fire Department is located right across the street. Still, a listing for under $300K is a rarity in the area, so someone might be willing to overlook the occasional siren in order to move into a home of their own. Thoughts?
