After the initial Harborfrost proved to be so popular last year, Sag Harbor has decided to go bigger in 2012. "We wanted to extend the day over last year's half-day event," explained Chamber of Commerce member Robert Evjen. To do so, they've added what Mr. Evjen called a "musical brunch". Starting at 11:30am, at least five business will be hosting musical performances. Then, at 3pm, the rest of the day's events?fire dancing, ice sculpting, the "Frosty Plunge" and a few other surprises?will begin. The day culminates in a fireworks display by Grucci. For those interested in attending, this year's Harborfrost is slated for February 11, with a rain date slated for Sunday the 12. {Sag Harbor Express]
