Awfully Neighborly Of Ya

Greg Donaldson has an interesting piece in The New York Times' Home & Garden Section about his efforts to fix up his home in East Hampton. After picking up the property through "a combination of luck and astoundingly cheap credit", the John Jay College professor soon realized that being "unable to build, repair, program or maintain anything" might be a hindrance to homeownership. Fortunately, a chance encounter changed all that. It's a quick, engaging read and definitely worth checking out. [NY Times]
