A 40-person battle royale (with cheese?) outside East Hampton Bowl this weekend ended when village police broke out the pepper spray and the stun gun part of a Taser. At around 3am on Saturday, cops were dispatched to the parking lot to deal with a melee involving attendees of a CD release party held in the bowling alley's lounge. Understandably, the manager was not happy: "It was extremely unfortunate that after investing a tremendous amount of time and money in developing a family environment at the bowling center for all members of our community, that a group of individuals from out of town...became this unruly after leaving the party." Very undude-like. [Patch]
