A Two-Bedroom In Sag Harbor Noyac For $499K

New, 2 comments

While this home may share a zip code with Sag Harbor, thanks to The Southampton Press and their handy dandy map (warning: PDF) of community boundaries, we call shenanigans on the listing copy. The 1200 sq. ft. residence is actually located in the Southampton hamlet of Noyac.

Geographical tomfoolery aside, this looks to be one of the nicer Under 500K properties we've come across. Built in 1991, the "cheerful" ranch-style house offers open living and dining rooms, an office and a not-altogether-unattractive kitchen. It's set on .5 wooded acres, so there's also room for expansion (and possibly a pool). Not exactly awe-inspiring, but a solid value.

Curiously, StreetEasy says that this has been on the market since late 2008. Any in-the-know Curbed readers care to offer an explanation as to why a sale is taking so long?
