When this one-time Pricespotter contestant hit the market back in June of 2007 it was asking $7.35M. After pulling the listing in 2009, Hitherland Development put it back up for sale in 2010?upping the price $145K in the process. Then, after a series of relatively small pricechops, it finally sold for $6M last December to M&K Patel.
The home is set on an a full acre in the Georgica estate section of East Hampton and, according to brokerbabble, "hits every button of perfection". While the listing says it "showcases impeccable detail rarely seen", the 7500 sq. ft. five-bedroom offers some pretty typical amenities:
"4 Connecticut fieldstone fireplaces, French doors, professional gourmet kitchen, enclosed screen porch overlooking the gunite/pool and spa....lavish gardens, pool house, outdoor shower, and [a] built in outdoor Viking BBQ grill."Curbed readers weren't overly impressed with the residence when we featured it back in October, but they did seem to have a bead on what it would sell for. Most of them thought the place would eventually go for between $5.5M and $6.5M and it did just that. · Listing: 2 Marina Lane [Corcoran]
