After a little less than half a year on the market, this 2,600 sq. ft. home changed hands in the middle of last month. Originally listed at $4.85M, the 1.2 acre property eventually sold to 10 Close, LLC for $1.1M off the ask. Some quick Google Fu leads us to believe that this particular LLC belongs to Joel Portugal, a longtime ad man in Manhattan.
So, what is the presumed Mr. Portugal getting for $3.75M? A "perfectly maintained" white-tiled residence that features a cathedral ceiling living room, open floor plan, and a second floor loft that would make a "perfect office or media room". Outside offers patios overlooking the heated gunite pool and, perhaps the most important part of the whole deal, "a private lagoon with direct access to Georgica Pond." Plans are in place for a residence almost twice this size, but we'll have to wait and see if the new owner decides to go ahead with them.
