This Former Speakeasy In EH Village Has Found A Buyer

New, 1 comment

All it took was a $450K pricechop and languishing on the market for more than a year and a half, but this four bedroom on one of East Hampton's prettiest streets, Mill Hill Lane, has finally found a buyer. According to Streeteasy, the 2800 sq. ft. home set on a little less than a half an acre entered into contract early last month.

According to the listing, the "quintessential" East Hampton home was built in 1928 and offers a formal dining area, a large parlor with fireplace, an eat-in kitchen and a full basement which?like that of The 1770 House ?once housed a speakeasy. No word on the final sale price (it was most recently listed at $2.5M) or if the soon-to-be-new-owner plans on reintroducing bathtub gin to the village.
