Southampton Village Review just published a great little piece about of a trio of look-alikes in Southampton Village. While many modern homebuyers (especially in this area) might balk at the notion of recycled blueprints, "kit homes" have been around since the early 1900s. It's a viable cost-saving move. And as the Hamptons market continues to struggle, we would expect to see more and more homebuilders forgoing architects and employing the use of pre-existing plans.
