Live In A Glass House, Throw Stones Elsewhere

New, 5 comments

This newly constructed Montauk home has just hit the market with an ask just shy of $10 million. Designed by the award-winning firm of Steven Harris Architects, this south-of-the-highway property sits on a .97 oceanfront acres and comes with the usual amenities expected of high-end homes on the East End: gunite pool, a landscaped courtyard and enough room for weekend visitors. But what really makes this 4-bedroom stand out should be obvious: those floor-to-ceiling picture-glass walls comprising the main living area. They not only offer incredible views, but can be opened to ensure the other senses don't feel ignored.

Update: We were politely informed that this house has been looking for a buyer since 3/10, so the phrase "just hit the market" most definitely does not apply. Other than being haunted, maybe our readers can offer a reason as to why such a gorgeous home has gone for so long without a buyer.
