Since we're already in the neighborhood, The Springs most famous resident, Jackson Pollock, is having a show of sorts at Guild Hall. Entitled "Richard Prince: Covering Pollock," the exhibit features pictures of Pollock that artist Richard Prince has pasted photos of other cultural "icons" upon. Prince?one of the first artists to be called post-modern?“was very attracted to the idea of someone who was by himself, fairly antisocial, kind of a loner, someone who was noncollaborative."
