Earlier this month, we wrote about how Sag Harbor's IGA was facing a $75,000 rent increase from their landlord. The twist is that the business is owned by Michael and Jennifer Schiavoni and the building is owned by Michael's mother and aunt (Victoria and Doris, respectively). But an anonymous tipster has just shed a little extra light on this Main Street saga; apparently the real reason for the rate hike is that Victoria doesn't like the fact Michael has been spending too much time with his new wife down in Florida (away from Michael's first wife and his children). Such spite is juicy, sure, but is this version of events actually true? Send any intel to hamptons@curbed.com or leave it anonymously in the comments. [Curbed Hamptons]
