East Hampton Says Willkommen To Gallerist Gordon Veneklasen

Gallerist Gordon Veneklasen of the Veneklasen/Werner Gallery in Manhattan recently snapped up this sweet home on Gerard Drive in Springs For $3.075 million. Built in 1946, the Cape Cod style home spreads out to 2,500-square-feet (all the more wall space to hang art) and has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, a fireplace, and a detached garage. It all sits on about 3 acres and has views of the bay.

Discreet, yes. But given Veneklasen's sophisticated taste (in 2009, he purchased a Carriage House in Greenwich Village designed by the über chic firm of 1100 Architect), we wonder if this little home is about to get a very big makeover.
