Ernie Cervi, who ran Corcoran's Bridgehampton office, left today for the greener pastures of Saunders Real Estate. Cervi says he made the switch because Saunders is rapidly growing and he "felt it was a good opportunity to grow with the firm." On the question of whether Corcoran should be scared that Cervi will recruit their top agents, he says "brokers tend to work for managers, not companies," so if you happen to be a successful Corcoran broker in Bridgehampton, now's an excellent time to negotiate a better split and more money in your ad budget. Cervi will be taking the next few weeks off and will be starting at Saunders after Labor Day. [Curbed Hamptons]
