Continuing a tradition started by this guy, a 2,700-square-foot post-modern home in Southampton's upscale Pheasant Close development has sold and closed for $2.655 million. With its simple interiors and proximity to Southampton High School, the property's sale price isn't necessarily that surprising. But when you compare it to the home's lofty 2007 asking price of $4.2 million, everything becomes a little bit more jarring! Especially because neighboring properties got over selling in the $2 million range way back in 2003. Wonder if the biting tongue of Pheasant Close resident (and real housewife!) Ramona Singer had anything to do with it?
