Gilt City's Hamptons House Is Now On Scuttle Hole Road in Bridgehampton

New, 2 comments

Last week, word came that the Village of East Hampton was very unhappy about Gilt City setting up shop in a single-family home on Fithian Lane and voted to issue an injunction in State Supreme Court to stop them. So, Gilt scrambled to find a new house (and tried to keep the location a secret).

But we've figured it out! Gilt City is going to be taking their $250 yoga classes and $125 dinners over to 1432 Scuttle Hole Road in Bridgehampton, a 4,300-sq-ft Traditional with 4 bedrooms, 3 baths, and "sprawling lawns."

But will the Town of Southampton indeed be a kinder, gentler place for Gilt? Or, like the Village of East Hampton, will Southampton be displeased to discover these so-called "private events" are being held in a single-family home within their jurisdiction? Gilt City says the house will "open on time as planned."

UPDATE: Gilt City contacted us to let us know the events are not open to the public and available only via private invitation. Gilt wouldn't tell us how to get them!
