There hasn't been much love for the Hamptons Designer Showhouse this year and much of what we've been hearing seems to echo what this Curbed reader thinks about the place: "This might be one of the WORST locations ever. Right at the traffic circle. And having the show house there was pure stupidity. Now we have even more traffic on the backroads... the traffic is cued up for miles on Scuttlehole road. And did I mention this house is just as ugly as the designer show houses of the past? Is there no creativity any more? Copy cat houses that look exactly like the other 'timelesss hamptons' houses will be as dated as the 'post modern' homes of the 80s and 90s. Sticking MDF molding on the walls is getting a bit tired, although I guess it did make Joe Farrell millions of dollars." Anyone else go? Your thoughts in the comments, please. [Curbed Hamptons]
