Called the "most expensive phone book in the world," the $80 Blue Book of the Hamptons is a who's who of the East End social set. Those that are listed self-submit their details, which includes phone numbers, addresses, and university affiliations. “When you’re giving a cocktail party, it’s very useful,” said Nina Griscom in a New York Times profile about the book in 2007.
