Blue Book of the Hamptons 2011

Called the "most expensive phone book in the world," the $80 Blue Book of the Hamptons is a who's who of the East End social set. Those that are listed self-submit their details, which includes phone numbers, addresses, and university affiliations. “When you’re giving a cocktail party, it’s very useful,” said Nina Griscom in a New York Times profile about the book in 2007. Advertising is minimal and the author is currently a mystery (there's just a PO box listed in Southampton and a voicemail-only phone number). Dying for a copy of this year's edition? It's currently available at BookHampton. [Curbed Hamptons]
