According to the New York Times this past weekend, it's not too late to score a summer rental in the Hamptons. Of course, anywhere desirable is already snapped up. And second tier areas? Gone, too. Apparently the only thing left are homes in "tertiary" areas like Noyack. Broker understatement: "It could take some convincing to get summer renters to explore areas with which they are not familiar." [New York Times]
