Christie Brinkley's Neighbor Also Selling Waterfront Spread

New, 5 comments

For the past year or so, model and East End staple Christie Brinkley has been trying to sell her elegant North Haven home for upwards of $15 million. While that property's had about as much luck selling as her Bridgehampton castle, the whole situation is made a little bit more complicated by this historic cedar shake colonial. The waterfront spread first hit the market in May for $8.9 million—well under the $9.99 million it sold for in 2007. We're in the red, people! And it happens to sit right next door to Brinkley's estate. Even though it doesn't offer as much acreage or glitz, it'll certainly appeal to someone who appreciates authentic architecture. One might even say the circa 1804 colonial photographs as well as Brinkley herself! That said, wonder which property will sell first!

UPDATE: Thanks to some Curbed tipsters, we now know that Christie Brinkley's North Haven neighbor is actually Christie Brinkley. Guess that means no matter which property sells first, Brinkley's coming out on top.
