Pierre Weber, owner of Pierre's restaurant in Bridgehampton (and the blue Citroën deux chevaux that's usually parked outside), watched his restaurant get robbed on Saturday. When a burglar jimmied the lock with a knife, the security system notified Weber, who was then able to watch the crime in progress through an internet-enabled security camera inside the restaurant. The thief took just $665, which is what breakfast for four usually runs there. [SH Patch]
