With gambrels aplenty, the 11,500-sq-ft home on almost 2.5 acres has 7 bedrooms, 8.5 baths, a two-story living room, movie theater, wine cellar, steam shower, sauna, as well as a 1,500-sq-ft pool house. (What, no tennis?) The property listing says that this house has a "distinct 'south of highway' feeling," although we believe you actually have to be south of the highway to feel like you're south of the highway.
The fundraising gala preview cocktail party to beneifit Southampton Hospital is on July 23rd and then the house is open to the masses for six weeks running from July 24th through September 4th, so there's plenty of time to get some serious tire kicking in.
The 2010 Hampton Designer Showcase house in Sag Harbor sold quickly last year...time will tell if the 2011 house will be so lucky.
