Have An Enormous Game Of Croquet In This Bridgehampton Yard

New, 3 comments

Perusing the most recent listings, as we do, we stumbled upon one in particular that made us sit up and take a second look...not for the grandeur, but for the price. Just off Scuttle Hole Road in Bridgehampton sits this newly renovated, 3,200-sq-ft house with 4 bedrooms, 4 baths, a gunite swimming pool, and lots of land.

Could it possibly be just $1.75 million for 5 acres in Bridgehampton? What was wrong with it? It came on the market in October at $2.1 million, dropped to $1.95 million in February, and, last week, came down to the $1.75 million price it is now. Is there some major flaw?

Well, it is north of the Highway and Brick Kiln isn't exactly a quaint little cul de sac. But the location does makes it possible to zip into Bridge or Sag quite easily, and there's something to be said for that. Your thoughts in the comments, please.
