Top Dog Nominee #2: Leroy Loves Meschutt Beach

New, 1 comment

As part of Curbed Outdoors Week 2011, we're looking for the best places to take your dog in the Hamptons. Nominate your dog and favorite spot for eternal glory by writing us a short description of what makes it so great and why your dog loves it. Nominations to hamptons@curbed.com.

Introducing Leroy, a two and a half year old Cocker Spaniel and Cavalier King Charles mix. He's an edge-of-the-Shinnecock kinda guy and his go-to spot is Meschutt Beach in Hampton Bays, "especially in the off season when it's quiet and empty." His mom, Karli, says:

If you've never been, you should check it out. There is a bar and food there. And on Fridays, they have an old car show in the parking lot...people drive their cool vintage cars down and basically show them off. They have live music, too. Sounds probably more fun for Karli than it is for Leroy...but happy owners make happy pets!
