Enormous $8M 'Treehouse' Takes Root in Bridgehampton North

New, 1 comment

What happens when you let a group of "the most talented architects and designers" loose in Bridgehampton North? Well, this! Entering the marketplace for the first time is this 10,000-square-foot shingle-style home dubbed "The Treehouse." And for good reason! The $7.995 million home sits high above the tree line, which affords it some solid views of Peconic Bay. The home hasn't actually be built yet, but this rendering gives us a pretty good idea of what we're working with. Outside, landscape architect Chris Laguardia has created a stepped terrace with an infinity-edge pool, dramatic seating areas, and a tennis court. And moving on inside we find seven bedrooms, six fireplaces, a finished lower-level, and even an elevator for lazy Sundays. Treehouses: they're just a little fancier in the Hamptons!
