There are few things we enjoy more than a leisurely stroll down Main Street. For those that get a similar serotonin rush with every swipe of their Centurion Card, here's a roundup of some new stores in the Hamptons.
Cynthia Rowley - The Shop at Capri
281 County Rd 39A, Southampton
The retail cornerstone of the hotly anticipated Capri Hotel reboot will be a Cynthia Rowley boutique featuring items from her line, wetsuits, Mr. Power's menswear, artwork from Exhibition A, and other "vacation miscellany."
69 Main St, East Hampton
Known for educating an entire generation on the differences between polished nickel and polished chrome, Restoration Hardware opened their first Hamptons store this past weekend. (Even the Village mayor was on hand to cut the ribbon.)
The Black Dog
50 Jobs Ln, Southampton
The Black Dog is a popular general store on Martha's Vineyard (and now elsewhere on the Eastern Seaboard). This new shop will primarily feature a selection of their famous products, from homemade baked goods to the their top-selling signature crew neck logo tee (so popular, even Bill Clinton couldn't resist giving one to Monica Lewinsky)
54 Jobs Ln, Southampton
Jack Wills got a bit of bad press last summer when they canceled a big event on the beach and forgot to tell people. But the British label, known for their "hedonistic college lifestyle" clothing, is opening in Southampton anyways. We say "forgive but never forget."
Crewcuts by J. Crew
14 Main St, East Hampton
This new shop-in-shop opened at the end of April and caters to the preppy wee ones in the family. Nothing says "we are a well-adjusted family" like children in seersucker suits. A stylist will be onsite to make sure everything matches like Garanimals.
