It's May 15th, which means it's officially beach permit season! Starting today at many Hamptons beaches, cars will need to display a specific sticker to avoid an expensive ticket or tow. Although since this is the Hamptons, there are a maddening array of exceptions (the Village of Southampton, for example, doesn't require permits until the 28th). But wouldn't it be nice if every town and village just agreed to have the same beach rules, stickers, and hours all summer long? [Curbed Hamptons]
