Assouline, that seminal publisher of expensive single-subject coffee table books, has released "Hamptons Gardens" just in time for prime hostess gift season.
The $150 book of luxe photography by East End landscape designer Jack Delashmet invites readers "behind the private hedges" and into some of the most spectacular outdoor spaces in the Hamptons. Best of all, the author will donate his share of the proceeds to God's Love We Deliver. Although with expensive paper stock like this, how much cash could that be?
For those who don't receive a copy from their Memorial Day Weekend houseguests, the charity is having their annual Midsummer Night Drinks benefit party in Water Mill on June 18th, so fingers crossed that the new book shows up in their gift bag.
