The Capri, the Atlantic, and the Bentley were snapped by new investors last year when Hamptons Resorts & Hotels went bankrupt and was forced to sell the trio of hotels. While the reboot of the Capri has been getting plenty of press (Nobu! Cynthia Rowley boutique! Bathing Club!), what's happening with the other two properties?
One of the new investors in the Capri (Jackie Mansfield of W South Beach fame) has taken the helm of the Atlantic and the Bentley and is hard at work restoring them "to their former glory" with an aesthetic that will be very "simple, crisp, clean, white-on-white." The Atlantic will be more "zen and quiet" while the all-suite Bentley will serve up some weekend programming in the pool area (à la Solé East). The Atlantic's summer rates range from $119 to $515 a night (the Bentley's rates for their 750-sq-ft rooms will be announced soon).
