Zoning Moaning

Owners of the circa 1856 Jeremiah Baker house, which happens to be on the National Register of Historic Places, would like to turn the Main Street property into "an arts and crafts shop and workshop." Not so fast, though! Even though the property was once zoned for "limited-business," a master plan has since limited the property to residential use only. The zoning change will go before a vote, but with neighbors calling the possible change "devastating," we doubt the homeowners will prevail. [EH Star]
