According to Southampton Patch, a robber walked off with $250,000 worth of paintings from a home on the ritzy Captains Neck Lane in Southampton. The heist occurred sometime last weekend, and involves works by artists like "Frederick H. McDuff, Jean Duffy, Jacques Martin-Ferrieres, Howard Behrens, Pierre Bittar and C. Everley." So if you see a Main Street vendor with 12 fancy paintings, you know who to call. (The police.) [SH Patch]
